This $5.5 million site development project was completed in partnership with Axis Builders, Studio Red Architects & SWA Group Houston (Landscape Architect). “The Landing” Amenity Center sits on 3.5 acres and is part of the Cross Creek Ranch Master Planned Community located Fulshear, TX.
The new construction of two (2) standalone buildings one being a single-story amenity center and the other a pool equipment building. The amenity center building includes a fitness center, flex/ activity room, men’s and women’s restrooms support space, storage rooms & janitors’ closet. Site amenities include a 5,100 sqft family pool and a separate 2,500 sqft. activity pool. There are two (2) lighted tennis courts, basketball court, two (2) large shade structures, planter walls, brick pavers & concrete parking lot.
The project includes a 5,270 sqft Fitness Center & Multifunction event space with a full-size fitness center, large flex/ activity room and support spaces. The Fitness Center & Multifunction spaces feature 19’ high painted exposed ceilings surrounded by large windows on three (3) sides to allow for natural light. Interior finishes include sports flooring, polished concrete, epoxy flooring & quarry tile. Other finishes include ceramic wall tile, vinyl wall covering & quartz counter tops.
The exterior cladding of the structural steel building consists of thermally modified wood rainscreen siding, composite wall panel rainscreen siding & stone veneer on steel studs. Other features on the exterior of the building are natural stone pavers at the patio and walking areas, large 2’ high concrete planters along with a large prefinished engineered aluminum and wood trellis system is featured on the west side of the building.
The Landing offers a 4,600 sqft family pool with large tanning ledges as well as a 2,500 sqft activity pool with splash pad & water slides. Other exterior elements include a two (2) lighted tennis courts, two (2) playgrounds, basketball court, fabric & metal pool shade structures as well as other architectural elements.
